FULL SERVICE DESIGN

REMODELS AND NEW BUILDS

Top-to-bottom design and construction support with projects involving construction.

Our flat rate fee for this service varies by scope and details of each project, (does not include Exploratory Phase fee).

  • We start all new construction and remodel projects with our Exploratory Phase to help determine your project’s numbers before construction starts.

    ● We ask all the right questions to understand you and what you’re really looking to achieve in your home

    ● We create a Plan and an itemized budget based on your tastes and project goals

    ● We help gather and evaluate bids from contractors/builders

    ● If needed, we’ll expertly guide you in adjusting your project’s scope and/or details to suit your budget

    There is a separate fee for the Exploratory Phase. This fee varies by project and will be applied to your project’s overall design fee once we are under contract.

  • Let us take care of everything for you while giving you the guidance you need to confidently make decisions that will transform your space and maximize your investment.

    ● Provide Floor Plans, Elevations and Complete project Book

    ● Finalize selections of all finishes and fixtures

FULL SERVICE DESIGN

FURNISHINGS AND DECORATING

Our flat rate fee for this service varies by scope and details of each project.

  • ● Can be used alone or in combination with our Full-Service Design for Remodels and New Builds

    ● For fully furnishing or refurnishing your spaces

    ● Single room and/or Multiple rooms

    ● Whole homes

    ● Includes design (layout and product selection),project support(ordering, tracking, shipping),installation, and styling to perfection.

    Just like our Remodels + New Builds service, our simple processes (see below) lets us take care of everything for you while giving you the guidance you need to confidently make decisions that will transform your space and maximize your investment.

CREATIVE CONSULTATIONS SOLUTIONS

As a standalone service, this in-home design session lets us help you prioritize your project’s goals and maximize your overall investment.

$495 for 1-3 hours (Depending on the Scope)

  • ● We’ll get right to work, talking through your project, reviewing your wish list, looking at inspiration, and asking questions about how you and your family live in the space.

    ● We’ll shed light on what it’s going to take to achieve what you’re looking for.

    ● We’ll use our Budget On The Fly method to help you establish a realistic budget that includes the items you need to create interiors that will resonate with you emotionally and functionally.

    ● From there, you may choose to continue with our services to implement your project. If that’s the case, we will provide you with a design proposal (this will show the Creative Consultation Solutions Fee credited to your project)

When you work with us under our Full-Service Design for Remodels + New Builds or Full-Service Design for Furnishing + Decorating, we make it easy for you as we guide you through every step of your project from start to finish.

IT ALL STARTS WITH THE DISCOVERY CALL

  • As soon as you contact us, we start getting to know you and understanding what your goals, needs, and wants are for your project.

    During our call, we’ll talk about your project’s specifics and help you decide if the best next step for you is to talk with us further via our in-home Creative Solutions Consultation.

  • This in-home meet and greet is designed to open the lines of communication between us and to get us on the same page about your project’s needs and goals.

    By getting to know and understanding how you want to live, we make sure the spaces we create function the way you need them to.

    We’ll talk through your project, review your wish list, look at inspiration, ask questions about how you and your family live in the space.

    We won’t come into your home with a bulldozer and tell you it all has to go. But we will tell you exactly what it’s going to take to achieve what you want, including what you need to let go of.

    For furnishings projects, we’ll use our Budget On The Fly method to help you establish a realistic budget that includes the items you need to create interiors that will resonate with you emotionally and functionally.

IF YOUR PROJECT IS A REMODEL OR NEW BUILD, WE WILL START WITH AN EXPLORATORY

  • Fee varies based on project scope and details + will be credited toward your overall design fee if you choose to move forward with our services.

    The Exploratory is a process that lets us create a detailed plan for your renovation or new build project before you commit to moving forward on it.

    We’ll review plans, provide design ideas/solutions, price materials, and vet contractor/builder bids to help you determine what your project will really involve and to give you our expert guidance on how to make it all work.

    While most clients use the Exploratory as a springboard into a Full-Service Design agreement with us, you’re free to handle your project another way from here if you so choose.

  • In this phase we’ll develop the complete look and feel of your space.

    After our Consultation we will provide you with drawn-to-scale plans, mood boards each compiled with different looks, ideas, and materials/products.

    We will provide a spreadsheet outlining material costs along with the Contractor/Builders Proposal

    Together we will decide on one design concept to move forward with.

THE MATERIAL SELECTION PHASE

  • Once you say yes to a design concept, it’s time for us to start sourcing actual products!

    In this phase, all materials and finishes will be selected by TDD.

    Depending on the project, selections may include cabinetry, flooring, countertops, tile and tile layouts, plumbing fixtures, mirrors and paint

    We’ll send you proposals for everything needed to complete your project and once approved, we’ll start placing orders.

    We manage all orders, deliveries, and fabrication for you to ensure things run smoothly.

OUR PROCESS

THE PRODUCT SELECTION PHASE

  • ● Once we’ve settled on a design concept, we’ll begin sourcing and ordering everything we need to make it come to life.

    ● Depending on the project, selections may include custom cabinetry, furnishings, lamps, mirrors, artwork, area rugs, custom window treatment designs, custom bedding/pillows, wallpaper and accessories

    ● We’ll send you proposals for everything needed to complete your project and once approved,we’ll start placing orders. We manage all orders, deliveries, and fabrication for you to ensure things run smoothly.

THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE

  • ● Finally it’s time to break ground!

    During the construction phase TDD will serve in a project construction support role from start to finish.

    ● We’ll provide the contractor with a Project Book, to be left on site at all times, as a means of open communication and project knowledge.

    ● All finish material orders and deliveries will be managed by TDD

THE INSTALLATION + STYLING PHASE

  • ● This is the day you’ve looked forward to since the beginning!

    ● On installation day, we will be onsite to accept all deliveries of furniture, artwork, area rugs, window treatments etc. and to oversee their placement.

    ● We’ll work our magic to make sure everything is placed and styled to perfection for the grand reveal of your new dream space(s)!

  • The first step in our design process is gathering inspiration specific to your vision. Per project, an idea most often sparks from our discovery call conversation and from there we continue brainstorming together. Our main goal is to make your vision come to life. The beauty of inspiration is that it surrounds us. We look to nature most often for colors, textures, and pattern play. Trisha has a unique passion for art and architecture, one of her favorites being female architect and fellow Chicago native, Jeanne Gang. At TDD, we enjoy traveling to new places, attending design conventions, and museum hopping in hopeful ways to fuel new ideas.

  • At Trisha Davis Designs we have a very diverse design aesthetic allowing for us to work exclusively on creating a space based around our clients style, desire, and needs. We aim to get personal in understanding how you use your space and who you are as individuals managing your space. The most important aspect to us is making sure your space mirrors you.

  • Absolutely! In the design process, we make ourselves available to you all steps of the way. We enjoy being as hands on as possible allowing for us to step in as project manager at any stage. You can count on us to come up with stress free solutions for any hiccup that could occur during the duration of your project. With our 25+ years in the industry we have truly seen and heard it all. Our main priority is to ensure that this process is extremely enjoyable and rewarding for you as the end result.

  • Yes, we have the capability to draw your space to scale and work on all floor plans + technical drawings. We can also consult on plans you’ve already had drawn up to provide you with our feedback. We specialize in designing small scaled plans for custom configured spaces like cabinetry, fireplace surrounds, and built-ins. We love working on creative challenges that force us to think outside the box: like transforming an underutilized area into a functionally beautiful space.

  • Not at all. While we are a full service design co. we can design room-to-room, multi-rooms, or entire home remodels. We’ve designed and consulted on residential, commercial, and newly built properties. We work from floor plans to finishing touches and everything in between. Absolutely no project is too small or complex for us as we love to be involved in all. If your looking to get started on your project but your unsure where to start, give us a call.

  • Yes, at TDD we work with an in house, licensed contractor, who specializes in plumbing, and is exceptionally detail orientated. In our years of experience, we’ve sourced and established outstanding relationships & connections across multiple fields of design. We work with a renowned list of reliable tradesmen that cater and deliver to their specialty. We partner closely with builders and architects to develop a unified and unique design. We make it easy to work with us, we can jump in at any stage and work jointly with any desired professional of your choosing.
